Why We Like The Blacktail 3 Hotel Tent
We check into the Big Agnes Blacktail Hotel 3 Tent whether we’re camping or backpacking. The larger vestibule is particularly useful for storing bikes or climbing gear at campgrounds. It does make the tent a bit heavier and bigger for backpacking, but we feel safe leaving the rain fly at home when there isn’t a single chance of rain. Even if there is, we pack the rain fly and footprint (sold separately) without the canopy for a lighter time on the trail that doesn’t skimp on weather protection.
